Operation of 580 special buses from Chennai for consecutive holidays for thaipoosam, Republic Day etc!!

As per the transport dept, as many as 580 special buses would be operated for consecutive holidays due to thaipusam, Republic Day etc.
It has been brought out by the press release from the transport dept that in addition to the daily buses that are operated from Chennai to major places across TN on 24th and 25th January 405 special buses would also be operated on the occasion of thaipoosam and Republic Day etc. There would also be 175 special buses that would be operated from Trichy, Kovai, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Salem etc to other places in Tamil Nadu.
Point is that as many as 580 special buses have been planned to operate. Due to consecutive holidays, as many as 5722 people have booked their tickets to travel from Chennai on 24th January and as many as 7222 people have booked their tickets to travel from Chennai on 25th January. As many as 15669 people have booked their return tickets to travel on Sunday.
On 25th January, on the occasion of pournami 10 air-conditioned buses would be operated from Chennai to Tiruvannamalai from 10am onwards.
