Deadline till evening today (6th March) to apply for participating in the written examinations for Indian Civil Services!

The Union Public Service Commission conducts and organizes the written examination for the Indian Government Civil Services every year.
On the 14th of February, the Union Public Service Commission released the dates for the Preliminary Civil Examinations.
The last day for applying to write the Preliminary Civil Services Examination for this year (2024) was until 6.00 PM yesterday (Tuesday, 5th March).
However, candidates interested in applying faced severe hardships as they could not apply ONLINE due to SERVERS BEING DOWN. Consequently, they could not complete sending their applications, leaving them half-filled and unsent.
In response to this situation, the applicants appealed for an extension of time to complete and send their applications for participation in the Preliminary Written examinations for the Civil Services.
Based on this appeal, the Union Public Service Commission has extended the deadline for application until 6.00 PM today (Wednesday, 6th March).
It is worth noting at this juncture that the Preliminary Written Examinations for the Indian Government Civil Services are scheduled to be conducted on the 26th of May.
