Once a woman crosses the age of 40, her life becomes a roller coaster ride due to fluctuating oestrogen and progesterone levels. This is a well known fact. Leading a normal life could become more challenging for women above 40. It is true that on some days a woman might feel energetic and on other days she might feel exhausted etc. This is due to hormonal fluctuations in her. This stage is termed as perimenopause.

A woman after crossing 40 years might have these symptoms. The symptoms are mood swings, changes in sexual desires, frequent headaches, brain fog, hot flashes, night sweating etc.

By not eating enough proteins:

After crossing 40, maintaining muscle mass becomes harder for the woman. Truth is that the cells would struggle to process insulin effectively. Not consuming enough proteins would lead to muscle loss by 10percent after the age of 40. So, please take care.

By overdoing cardio workouts:

Progesterone hormone plays an important role in the menstrual cycle, mood and sleep etc. Overdoing cardio workouts or exercises would lower progesterone in a woman. Therefore, women must be cautious regarding this.

By not bothering about alcohol impact:

Intake of alcohol would release histamine. Moreover, when the estrogen levels drop then the woman would find it difficult to process them. This could lead to disturbed sleep and would make the woman feel drained throughout the day.

By skipping supplements:

When nutrition cannot provide with the much needed nutrients supplements would provide. Truth is that supplements would bridge the nutritional gaps. Randomly picking up would not be ideal. The need and right dosage of supplements is very important. Please take care.

By relying on IUDs and HRTs:
