How to calculate cut-off marks for MBBS and BE?

MEDICAL CUTOFF FORMULA FOR MATHS BIOLOGY GROUP:
This Cutoff Calculation is Applicable for Maths Biology, Computer Science, Micro Biology, Bio Chemistry, Nursing,Home Science, Nutrition & Dietetics , Engineering for Communication Groups.
Example:
Biology Marks 200 / 2 = 100 +
Physics Marks 200 / 4 = 50 +
Chemistry Marks 200 / 4 = 50
Total is the Cutoff = 200.
0.25, 0.5, 0.75 in this Calculation will be Considered for Ranking in MEDICAL COUNSELLING Tamilnadu.
Your 0.25 or 0.5 or 0.75 Marks Might be the Crucial one while Considered for Ranking.
Medical Cutoff Example:
A Student of Maths Biology Group Scores 198 Marks in Biology, 190 in Physics and 187. Cutoff Mark is calculated as
Biology Marks 198 / 2 = 99.00 +
Physics Marks 190 / 4 = 47.50 +
Chemistry Marks 187 / 4 = 46.75
Medical Cutoff = 193.25
MEDICAL CUTOFF CALCULATION for SCIENCE GROUP:
Botany Marks 200 / 4 = 50 +
Zoology Marks 200 / 4 = 50 +
Physics Marks 200 / 4 = 50 +
Chemistry Marks 200 / 4 = 50
Total is the Cutoff = 200
Medical Cutoff Example (Science Group):
A Student from Pure Science Group Scores 197 Marks in Botany, 191 Marks in Zoology, 191 in Physics and 187 in Chemistry.
Cutoff Mark is calculated as,
Botany Marks 197 / 4 = 49.25 +
Zoology Marks 191 / 4 = 47.75 +
Physics Marks 191 / 4 = 47.75 +
Chemistry Marks 187 / 4 = 46.75
Medical Cutoff = 191.5
Cut-off marks for BE:
Students should know about calculating cut-off marks. The total marks for every subject is 200.
First, take your mathematics mark, divide it by 2, then you will get the marks for 100. Marks of physics and chemistry should be divided by 4, then you would get marks for 50 for each subject. Finally, if you add the marks of Maths, Physics and Chemistry (100 for maths, 50 each for physics and chemistry) you will get cut-off marks.
The cut off mark to join engineering college is 198.50.
