Hyundai Ties Up with IITs for Battery and Electrification Research

Hyundai Motor Group has partnered with IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, and IIT Madras to establish a collaborative research system for batteries and electrification, with a planned investment of $7 million over five years (2025-2029).
As part of the initiative, a Hyundai Center of Excellence (CoE) will be set up at IIT Delhi to focus on innovations tailored to India’s unique needs. The partnership aims to drive advancements in electrification technology and strengthen Hyundai`s presence in the Indian market.
