Heavy Rains Expected in South TN Due to Cyclonic Circulation

Under the influence of a cyclonic circulation in Equatorial waters, parts of south Tamil Nadu may receive heavy rains on Friday and Saturday, according to weather blogger K Srikanth (Chennai Rains).
Moderate to heavy rains are expected in southern districts, while the delta region may see light to moderate showers. Chennai is likely to experience only drizzles or cloudy skies.
Rains may continue until March 1 in districts like Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Ramanathapuram, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, and Madurai. The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) reported no major temperature changes, with a slight dip expected.
