As an attempt to prevent COVID-19 spread, the Indian Navy has set up a special camp on the Visakhapatnam INS Viswakarma Eastern Navy Regiment. This special camp has been set up for the Indians evacuated from the countries affected by COVID-19 virus.
The special camp has been set up to provide for around 200 patients with all the required facilities and arrangements.
The people who are accommodated in this camp will be monitored closely by staff in the regiment and the team of medical experts.
The patients will be isolated and kept under close medical monitoring in the camp as per the guidelines given by the Central Ministry of Health and Family Welfare!
The patients brought from foreign countries will be accommodated in this special camp for 14 days as a precautionary action. To prevent the spreading of coronavirus, the Visakhapatnam naval regiment has extended full cooperation to the State and District health officials.
The Indian Government has intensified its activities to encounter the latest global level disaster of coronavirus spread. With the whole-hearted cooperation from the citizens, it has been possible to control the spread of coronavirus to a great extent!
