New regulations effective from today Monday, 26th April

The restrictions recently announced by the State Government of Tamil Nadu as a preventive measure to check/prevent the fast and wide spreading raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic commence from today Monday, 26th April.
In this regard certain restrictions such as night-time lockdown, etc., have already been implemented earlier. The new restrictions commence from today!
Things which won’t function: Cinema theatres, gyms, entertainment meeting places, all liquour shops, large halls, conference/meeting halls, large shops, commercial complexes. Beauty parlours, hair-dressing salons, all eateries (hotels/cafeterias), tea shops (sitting and eating inside) are all banned. But parcels are allowed to be taken.
No permission for worship spots: Public devotees are not to be permitted to enter worship spots. Sports clubs and training centers such as for tennis, etc., are not permitted.
Procedure already in vogue: The night-time lockdown will continue (10.00 PM to the next day 4.00 AM). Only sitting passengers are allowed to travel in day time in the private and public buses! 3 passengers will be permitted to travel in rental cars/taxis. Only 2 passengers are allowed in autos apart from the driver.
