Coronavirus: Greater Chennai Corporation orders malls closed!

The Commissioner of the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC), Prakash, has informed that as an immediate preventive measure against coronavirus spread, all the shops in T Nagar Ranganathan Street must be closed for 10 days. However, the smaller shops will be open to facilitate the public to buy essential items.
GCC officials conducted a meeting with the Tamil Nadu State Minister Velumani in Chennai.
After this review meeting, it has been emphasised that all the shops in T Nagar Ranganathan Street, where the public always throng in very large numbers, to be closed for 10 days.
