As a preventive measure against coronavirus, various functions have been banned until 31st March. On this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to the citizens that the public should observe a ‘public curfew’ by themselves from 7.00 AM to 9.00 PM on Sunday, 22nd March.
Subsequently, the Chennai Metro City Koyambedu wholesale vegetable, fruits, and flower market will not function on 22nd March. Similar closure announcement from various other avenues is regularly being announced! Both Chennai Metro Rail and Chennai Metro buses will not function on 22nd March, Sunday (tomorrow). The Taxi owners Association has also announced that they won’t operate tomorrow.
In this scenario, the state government of Tamil Nadu has announced that Tasmac shops will remain closed on 22nd March. Minister Thangamani announced that Tasmac shops are being closed following the public curfew appealed by the Prime Minister.
