Covid-19 warriors efforts recognized- India and Chennai residents thank them

At this time when the entire world is scared of Corona virus issue, there are many people who are working day in and day out to treat or help those who are affected with this issue.
On Sunday, 22nd March 2020, at 5 pm in the evening, there were many people on the streets of Chennai and these people thanked the warriors who are risking their lives to save many Corona affected patients. The warriors include doctors, medical staffs and sanitary workers etc. The terraces, balconies of apartments and houses also had many people who showed their gratitude to the warriors by clapping their hands or even by making sounds with some utensils etc.
A resident belonging to Besant Nagar expressed his opinion. The resident revealed that he and other residents have appreciated the risk and great efforts taken by the doctors, police personnel and sanitary workers etc without bothering about their own lives in this critical time of Corona virus infection. He added that these public workers have been making sure that the society is healthy and safe.
Another resident of Besant Nagar spoke about how the residents have been staying in their respective houses all day and how at 5 pm they have come out to appreciate the efforts of the public workers. She added that seeing her neighbour’s faces was superb though they have been social distancing.
Point is this appreciation event was held in places like T. Nagar, Kodambakkam, Mylapore etc and the residents of these places took part between 4:45 pm to 5:45 pm.
