Production of Maruti Suzuki stopped!

Maruti Suzuki has announced that the production of its cars has been stopped as a precautionary action against the coronavirus spread.
In a report submitted regarding the various precautionary initiatives taken by the company against coronavirus spread to SEBI (Security and Exchange Board of India), Maruti Suzuki has mentioned:
‘Maruti Suzuki has initiated several prevention activities against the coronavirus spread. Accordingly, thermal scanning test, maintaining cleanliness (both physical and the place), exchanging info through video-conferences, avoiding conducting review and consultancy meetings, preventing employee travels, creating awareness among the employees on this, and several others as per the central government guidelines on this issue.’
As another measure, Marui Suzuki has announced yesterday (Sunday, 22nd March) that it has stopped production of Maruti Suzuki cars.
As per the activities initiated and orders given by the central government, as a preventive action against the spreading of the coronavirus, the production of cars in 2 factories – Manesar and Gurugra in Harayana – is stopped immediately.
Further, the Research and Development wing of Maruti Suzuki will not function as well!’
