List of foreign returnees from 15th February prepared by the immigration officials now

To make sure that all those persons who have returned to India from other foreign countries between 15th February and 22nd March are quarantined, the immigration officials are preparing the passengers list now.
It is known that the number of persons affected by Covid-19 has been on the rise now. Information is the health department has asked the immigration officials to prepare the list. Nearly 1.5 lakhs persons have arrived in Chennai between the above mentioned dates but just 50,000 of them have been quarantined. This was as per some sources. The preparation of the list would be followed by distribution to the concerned officials. Later, these officials would be initiating quarantine measures.
It must not be forgotten that on 15th January, AAI began screening those who arrived from China and after 1 week AAI also started screening those who came from countries like Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, Italy, Indonesia, Iran etc.
