ALERT! GUIDELINES RELEASED: PUBLIC MUST PREPARE TO ENCOUNTER THE THIRD CORONAVIRUS WAVE!

In a circular sent on behalf of the Directorate of Medical Education to Medical College Principals and Directors, it is mentioned:
· Beds with Oxygen facility and ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Beds must be organised in all hospitals!
· All doctors and nurses MUST BE DEPLOYED ON A ROTATIONAL BASIS.
· In the children’s war, one-fourth of the nurses should be kept prepared for emergency duty!
· General and Anesthesiology doctors must be prepared and kept ready to encounter the 3rd coronavirus wave.
· Presently, the impact/extent of the spread of the resurgent 2nd wave of coronavirus pandemic is subsiding gradually! In this situation, the medical experts have informed that the attack/insurgence of the 3rd coronavirus wave is imminent! As such, the medical experts have warned that the State of Tamil Nadu will encounter the insurgence of the 3rd corona wave! They have also informed that children under the age of 18 will be most affected!
· As per above, the Heads and Directors of all hospitals MUST BE 100% PREPARED! Corona 3rd wave may attack any moment! So, the child specialist doctors must be specially prepared! 100 beds must be specially made ready for this situation!
· Beds with oxygen facility and ICU Beds must be kept always ready to encounter any emergencies!
· In the children’s wards, one-fourth of the nurse staff must be kept ready for emergency duty!
