Belonging to the family named Brassiceceae, Radish is a flowering plant. In the beginning, radish was grown in Asia only but later they were grown all over the world. In Tamil language, radish is called mullangi and in Hindi it is called moolee. It is a usual practice to discard the radish leaves while we cook.
