Air India Express has achieved a major milestone by inducting its 100th aircraft, a Boeing 737-8 featuring Chittara art inspired by Karnataka’s mural paintings. The aircraft was flagged off at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport, the airline’s largest hub, and operated on the Bengaluru–Hindon route.
Since joining the Tata Group in 2022, Air India Express has doubled its fleet and expanded its network to 54 destinations across India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The airline now offers over 500 daily flights, catering to growing demand from Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities.
In addition to fleet expansion, the airline has introduced premium services like Gourmair hot meals, Xpress Biz seats, and XpressHolidays. Staying true to its ‘Tales of India’ theme, each aircraft showcases India’s rich artistic heritage through traditional designs.
With a modern and fuel-efficient fleet, Air India Express continues to shape the future of Indian aviation!
