Southern Railway Cancels EMU Trains on September 22; Special Services Introduced!
On Sunday, September 22, all EMU trains in the Chennai Beach to Tambaram section will be fully cancelled from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM due to essential engineering works.
In place of the cancelled EMU services, Southern Railway will operate 24 special passenger trains between Chennai Beach and Pallavaram in both directions.
Regular EMU trains heading to Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Tirumalpur, and Arakkonam will run on their usual schedule on Sunday.
Passenger specials will depart from Chennai Beach at 6:15 AM and continue until 7:00 PM towards Pallavaram. Conversely, trains will leave Pallavaram for Chennai Beach from 7:10 AM to 7:50 PM.
Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and check the revised schedule before traveling, as stated by Southern Railway.
