EMU Train Cancellations and Service Disruptions: September 18-21!
Due to ongoing engineering works prioritizing passenger safety and train operations, a Line Block/Signal Block will be in place between Chennai Beach and Villupuram, specifically at Chennai Beach Yard, from 22:40 hrs to 04:30 hrs on September 18th and 20th, 2024 (a duration of 5 hours and 50 minutes). Consequently, the following changes in EMU train service patterns have been announced:
A. Full Cancellation of EMU Train Services:
1. Train No. 40109, Chennai Beach to Tambaram EMU, departing at 20:25 hrs, is fully cancelled on September 18th and 20th.
2. Train No. 40111, Chennai Beach to Tambaram EMU, departing at 20:55 hrs, is fully cancelled on September 18th and 20th.
3. Train No. 40115, Chennai Beach to Tambaram EMU, departing at 22:20 hrs, is fully cancelled on September 18th and 20th.
4. Train No. 43714, Tiruvallur to Chennai Beach EMU, departing at 21:35 hrs, is fully cancelled on September 18th and 20th.
5. Train No. 43719, Chennai Beach to Tiruvallur EMU, departing at 20:05 hrs, is fully cancelled on September 18th and 20th.
6. Train No. 43801, Chennai Beach to Arakkonam EMU, departing at 04:05 hrs, is fully cancelled on September 19th and 21st.
7. Train No. 42612, Gummidipundi to Chennai Beach EMU, departing at 21:55 hrs, is fully cancelled on September 18th and 20th.
8. Train No. 42615, Chennai Beach to Gummidipundi EMU, departing at 22:45 hrs, is fully cancelled on September 18th and 20th.
B. Partial Cancellation of EMU Train Services:
1. Train No. 40117, Chennai Beach to Tambaram EMU, departing at 23:05 hrs, is partially cancelled between Chennai Beach and Chennai Egmore on September 18th and 20th.
2. Train No. 40119, Chennai Beach to Tambaram EMU, departing at 23:30 hrs, is partially cancelled between Chennai Beach and Chennai Egmore on September 18th and 20th.
3. Train No. 40121, Chennai Beach to Tambaram EMU, departing at 23:59 hrs, is partially cancelled between Chennai Beach and Chennai Egmore on September 18th and 20th.
4. Train No. 40501, Chennai Beach to Chengalpattu EMU, departing at 03:50 hrs, is partially cancelled between Chennai Beach and Chennai Egmore on September 19th and 21st.
5. Train No. 40568, Chengalpattu to Chennai Beach EMU, departing at 21:10 hrs, is partially cancelled between Chennai Egmore and Chennai Beach on September 18th and 20th.
6. Train No. 40806, Tirumalpur to Chennai Beach EMU, departing at 20:00 hrs, is partially cancelled between Chennai Egmore and Chennai Beach on September 18th and 20th.
7. Train No. 40570, Chengalpattu to Chennai Beach EMU, departing at 22:10 hrs, is partially cancelled between Chennai Egmore and Chennai Beach on September 18th and 20th.
8. Train No. 40572, Chengalpattu to Chennai Beach EMU, departing at 23:00 hrs, is partially cancelled between Chennai Egmore and Chennai Beach on September 18th and 20th.
9. Train No. 40204, Guduvancheri to Chennai Beach EMU, departing at 22:10 hrs, is partially c cancelled between Tambaram and Chennai Beach on September 18th and 20th.
10. Train No. 40206, Guduvancheri to Chennai Beach EMU, departing at 22:40 hrs, is partially cancelled between Tambaram and Chennai Beach on September 18th and 20th.
11. Train No. 40208, Guduvancheri to Chennai Beach EMU, departing at 23:15 hrs, is partially cancelled between Tambaram and Chennai Beach on September 18th and 20th.
