Chennai Book Fair 2024 Begins on Today
The much-anticipated 48th Chennai Book Fair, organized by the Bookseller’s and Publishers Association of South India (BAPASI), is set to commence on Friday, December 27th, 2024, at the YMCA Grounds, Nandanam. The event will continue until January 12th, 2025, offering book enthusiasts 17 days of literary celebration.
Grand Inauguration
Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin and School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi will inaugurate the book fair on Friday at 4:30 PM.
Venue and Stalls
- 900 stalls will be set up, showcasing a vast array of books across genres.
- Visitors can enjoy a 10% discount on all books at every stall.
- Stalls will also be hosted by 10 government departments, including the Tamil Nadu Textbook and Educational Services Corporation.
