Did the Naan Mudhalvan Scheme serve the purpose for which it was launched in TN?
Naan Mudhalvan Scheme was launched in Tamil Nadu by SPI or special programme department to make the educated youths more employable. This scheme is going in the right direction now.
From the data that was provided by the department it was clear that more than 93000 arts and science college students and more than 88000 engineering students have completed under the Naan Mudhalvan Scheme and have been placed successfully.
On Tuesday, the data released from the T government revealed that about 92975 arts and science college students and about 88200 engineering students got jobs through this superb scheme.
It is learnt that maximum students got jobs in 2022-23 with 57315 arts and sciences college students and 61920 engg students. The training provided by the scheme has helped 26419 polytechnic students and 15431 ITI students to get jobs. This was highlighted by the department.
Since the financial year 2022-23, about 23.1lakhs arts and sciences college students, 11.13lakhs engg college students, 3.77 lakhs polytechnic students and 1.07lakh ITI students have been trained.
The superb piece of information is that ever since it has been launched Naan Mudhalvan Scheme has trained 39.08lakhs students and 80458 faculties in Tamil Nadu.
