Over 6,500 Women Engineering Graduates Attend Naan Mudhalvan-Infosys Placement Drive
A state-level placement drive, organized under the Naan Mudhalvan Scheme in collaboration with TNSDC and Infosys, attracted over 6,600 women engineering graduates across Tamil Nadu. The interviews were conducted on January 17 and 18 in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Madurai.
Participation Breakdown:
- Chennai Region (including Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, and others): 1,444 candidates
- Coimbatore Region (covering Erode, Salem, Tiruppur, and more): 2,537 candidates
- Madurai Region (including Trichy, Tanjore, Tirunelveli, and others): 2,636 candidates
A total of 148 students secured conditional job offers for the Systems Engineer role at Infosys, with 27 from Chennai, 62 from Coimbatore, and 59 from Madurai. The offers are subject to background verification. Candidates were notified via their registered email IDs, while salary details remain undisclosed.
