In the future, the commuters of metro trains in Chennai who cannot get their travel cards at the metro stations need not worry!!
An arrangement is being made by CMRL where the commuters could get their travel card even through other authorized agencies also. On Thursday, Mr. Pradeep Yadav provided the first set of travel cards to an authorized agent Mr. R. Premnath under a new pilot venture. According to Mr. Pradeep Yadav, steps are being taken now to provide travel cards for the commuters through authorized agencies apart from the metro stations.
For confirming the genuinity of the agents, CMRL would issue a letter for the agents. Information is that 5% commission would be given for the authorized agency for the sale of metro train travel cards. The superb piece of information is that the commuters would get a 20% discount on metro train travel and the cards could be changed through the CMRL mobile app or at any metro stations in the Chennai city.
