Parks in Chennai to get improved to international standards

Chennai Corporation has come up with a renovation project of all parks across the city. The corporation has ordered to submit the price estimation to set up new parks and renovate existing ones. As of now, over 400 parks including 260 parks and 150 roadside parks are wide spread across the city. Currently, 100 new parks are getting set up every year with money spent in several crore. Despite these efforts, none of the park has good ambience for the people to admire or relax there. This is ultimately due to the interruptions by politics in it.
Taking this into account, the corporation has appointed a chief officer to enhance the quality of these parks to international standards. In his recent inspections, he has drafted couple of methods to improve parks across the city and has appointed workers for respective tasks.
