Chennai needs attention

Chennai has got a lot wrapped up within to entertain the tourists. However, tourists seem to use the city mainly as a gateway to visit various other tourist spots in the south.
·         Various museums including pre-history museums
·         British fort
·         Oldest of all railway stations at Royapuram
·         Various heritage buildings
·         Crocodile bank
·         Vibrant neighborhoods

Above are some of the locations that symbolize the richness of Chennai. When tourists visit the city, they are taken to the places like Marina beach or Valluvar Kottam and few popular temples. Despite receiving tourists in large numbers, government has not formulated any tourism policy yet.

Most commonly, travelers reach the city airport and continue their journey heading to Mamallapuram or Puducherry. Though the city has got its largest museum, tourists eye on the one at Pudhuchery more than in Chennai.

It’s now high time for Chennai to get marketed vigorously. When the government shows interest on this kind of development, it is obvious that private people would show interest too.
