Traffic diversions on Independence Day

The traffic police will a few modifications in traffic flow for Independence Day celebrations on Friday. They will be in effect from 6am until the function is over.
Kamarajar Salai from Napier Bridge up to RBI subway will remain closed for all traffic.
Traffic from Muthusamy Bridge/Anna Salai towards Parry`s Corner/ Kamarajar Salai may take Muthusamy Road, RA Mandram and NFS Road.
Vehicles without passes can be parked inside Island grounds through Anna Salai entry . MTC buses with RSP and NSS students can enter Island Grounds through the VIP Gate, drop off students and park the vehicles in spaces allotted.
