Literally heavy pour down of rain - upsetting traffic across the city

Chennai rain which started at 11.30 in the morning keeps continuing on and on without a break! The heavy shower has left all the city roads with increasing levels of stagnant water. Areas including Guindy, Nungambakkam, Saidapet, Pallavaram, Vandalur, West Mambalam, Meenambakkam, Egmore, and Chrompet saw high levels of rain during the noon.
In addition to water stagnant road condition, few places are troubled with falling of trees. This has worsened the traffic condition of the city. People find it irksome to travel along the city roads!
Tamil Nadu and Pondichery are said to receive heavy showers in the next few days. Few places are likely to receive heavy showers too.
It’s advisable to get out of home only when you have unavoidable needs! That’s a better idea to cherish the heavy shower through your window rather! Share your experience in today’s heavy rain!
