Chennai Corporation: Meat shops to remain closed on 23rd October!

The latest news-bulletin from Chennai Corporation says:
As per the government order, all meat shops run under government will remain closed on Thursday, 24th October on behalf of ‘Mahavir Nirvan’.
Even all the private shops selling cow & goat meat should be closed on 23rd October as per the government order. All traders are to cooperate with the government on this front.
