Schools ,colleges holiday today

District Collector of Chennai has announced holiday for all Government, aided and private schools & colleges in Chennai on Monday due to heavy rain.
Kanchipuram,Thiruvallur,Nagapattinam,Trichy,Erode,Tirupur,Coimbatore, Thoothukudi,Cuddalore,Thanjavur,Tiruvarur, & Ariyalur districts schools and colleges declared holiday today.
Chennai Meteorological centre official has informed heavy rain to continue over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry for next 2 days.
