Prices of vegetable slashed

Since there is heavy inflow of vegetables in Koyambedu Wholesale market, the prices of vegetables including carrots and drumsticks have come down. After Pongal, there was rise in the prices of vegetables at Koyambedu Wholesale market.
Since there was more cultivation, the supply of vegetables to Koyambedu was increased. Because of this the prices of vegetables started coming down. On Sunday, the prices of vegetables have drastically come down. When compared to last week, the prices of drumsticks, carrot and Brinjals have come down by half.
