Pay water and sewerage tax by 31st March to avoid penalty

Chennai Metrowater has requested its consumers to pay water and sewerage tax by 31st March in order to avoid penalty. Consumers are requested to pay immediately in order to avoid last moment rush and penalty. Defaulters have to pay monthly 1.25% as penalty. Consumers are also requested to pay at the special centres that are opened on 28th and 29th of this month. Consumers can also pay online using the credit or debit cards.
