Income Tax Service Centre inaugurated

A new income tax service centre (Aayakar Seva Kendra) has been set up at a cost of Rs. 20 Lakhs in the Income Tax Office at Tambaram, Chennai.
Income Tax Department Chief Commissioner Mr. T Jaishankar inaugurated the new service centre.
All the senior officials participated.
The new Income Tax Service Centre will receive all applications from tax payers and the particulars will be registered in the computer. The status of the application can be ascertained on the internet.
