5 cities in Tamil Nadu already recorded temperatures over 100 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Meteorological Department Officials explained:
With dry climate prevailing in Chennai and other cities over the last few days, the severity of summer has intensified.
Salem & Vellore recorded 103 Degrees. Trichy recorded 101 Degrees.
Madurai & Karur Paramathi recorded 100 Degrees.
With still a month-and-a-half to go before the most severe period of summer, ‘Agni Nakshatram;, 5 cities of Tamil Nadu have started experiencing severe summer already!
Chennai, Coimbatore, and Palayamkottai recorded 98 Degrees.
For the next few days, Tamil Nadu & Puducherry will continue to have dry climate. Chennai will have cloudy skies.
