Car-free Sundays in Chennai

Adopting a non-motorised transport policy, the Chennai Corporation adopted a resolution to unveil a ‘car-free Sundays’ project where cars would not be allowed in main streets of the city from morning till evening. Details of the proposal are being worked out.
