Interested in working in the elections? Approach Chennai Corporation!

Legislative Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Tamil Nadu next year (2016). State government employees who are interested in working in the election process can approach Chennai Corporation.
The press release regarding above from Chennai Corporation Commissioner & District Election officer: State government employees, who are working in the cadres as registration clerk, Junior Assistants, and Assistants, if interested in working during election, can contact the ward voter registration officer or Chennai Corporation Zonal Officer.
The interested employees should be residents in the 16 constituencies of Chennai District. They can work in the polling boots and other election activities during the extra hours and holidays apart from their regular daily work. For the persons working as the polling booth official, Yearly salary will be paid as per the orders from the Election Commission.
