Boathouses in Muttukadu and Mudaliyarkuppam to get facelift

State minister of tourism S P Shanmuganathan said in the assembly on Wednesday that boathouses in Muttukadu and Mudaliyarkuppam will get a facelift at a cost of Rs 4.70 crore this year. Major improvement work would be carried out to attract more tourists and tenders have been floated. The beach resort complex at Mahabalipuram will be also be spruced up at a cost of Rs 2.55 crore. These projects will be funded with financial assistance from Asian Development Bank.
