Another opportunity for the people who lost their voter IDs in the recent floods

Several people had lost their Voter ID cards during the incessant heavy rains and subsequent floods in some districts including Chennai, Cuaddalore, Kanchipuram, etc.
The Election Commission has ordered for replacement with new voter IDs for the people who lost them during the floods.
As per this order, the people who lost their voter IDs should visit their respective constituency Office of the Voter registration service, fill up the form 001 and submit the same directly.
Apart from this, there is another facility. People who have lost their voter IDs can now call the number 1950, register their complaint and help receive the new voter ID.
Depending on the complete nature of the details asked for in the application, immediate action will be take to issue the new voter IDs.
All the public who were affected by the recent floods and lost their voter IDs are requested to avail this opportunity immediately and receive the new voter IDs.
