Now make free phone calls on Sundays

BSNL has made an announcement that all calls made on Sundays will be charged zero. This will come into effect from Independence Day that falls to be on coming Monday, the 15th of August 2016.
There was once a period when there was not any home without BSNL landline connection at all. With the introduction of mobile phones, landline usage has drastically dwindled. While each one of us have got mobile phones, the need for using landline has dropped down a lot.
Now, as a move to expand BSNL landline usage, BSNL has launched a new scheme that allows all its users to make free phone calls on Sundays. This will come into effect from 15th August, Independence Day. It is also to be noted that BSNL had already announced free phone calls when made between 9 pm and 7 am. Now, customers can enjoy both old and new schemes.
