Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J. Jayalalitha got admitted in Apollo Hospitals at Greams Road, Chennai with complaints of sickness. It was known from reliable hospital sources that her body suffers fever and dehydration. Following this, the doctors have been providing necessary treatment and affirmed that she is on a regular diet.

The doctors are regularly observing her health state based on test reports. She is getting better day by day, they add. Hence, she is carrying out her responsibilities as CM right from the hospital bed. She made announcements regarding candidate list for local body elections, bonus for public sector employees, and so on. She also held a discussion with government officials about solving Cauvery dispute.

Amidst these, there have been rumors spreading all over and enquiries from various parts of the state are piling up every day. Refuting all these guesses about her health state, the Chief Executive Officer of Apollo Hospital management, in his report yesterday at 10.30 p.m. stated that the treatment given for Chief Minister Jayalalitha has shown good results. Necessary tests are being taken and the required procedures to recover her health are being taken. The CM will have to remain in the hospital for a few more days, the report added.
