Procedures at permanent Aadhaar enrolment centres changed

The procedures at Arasu Cable TV Corporation’s permanent Aadhaar enrolment centres have been changed. The changes will come into force from 13th February.
Arasu Cable TV Corporation in association with Chennai Corporation is managing the permanent Aadhaar enrolment centre with in Chennai jurisdiction. There are complaints from the general public that the centres are crowded and there are no officials to guide them or assist them.
In view of this permanent Aadhaar enrolment centres would function from 9.45 am to 5.45 pm. Besides Aadhaar help desks, Aadhaar help assistants would be appointed to assist the public. They would distribute the forms for Aadhaar registration at free of cost and issue tokens on first come first served basis. Aadhaar assistants would regulate the queue in accordance with the token number.
Complaints could be lodged by calling toll-free number 1800 425 2911 for necessary action.
