E-service centres - facility to issue 15 more certificates to be introduced

The state government of Tamil Nadu has approved permission for the E-service centres with the facility to issue 15 more kinds of certificates/proofs required by the citizens for various purposes including applying for social welfare schemes.
Presently, the certificates issued by the E-service centres through the internet, on behalf of the state Revenue and Disaster Management Department, include caste certificates, income certificates, and Residence proof certificates.
During the session on 10th July in the State Legislative Assembly, it was announced that facility will be made to issue 15 more certificates for different purposes from the E-service Centres.
Accordingly, the facility to issue 15 more certificates including agricultural income proof certificate, small-scale farmer certificate, inter-caste marriage certificates, widow (proof) certificates, and jobless certificates will be provided in the E-service Centres has been granted by the Tamil Nadu state government.
