An order has been issued that Aadhar card details will be mandatory and the banks, telecom service providing companies, Post Office banks, LPG cooking gas agents have all been strictly informed to procure the Aadhar card data from all their customers. Aadhar card is mandatory to file Income Tax returns as well as getting ration cards.
Until now, there were only a few places where Aadhar card registration could be done. The public had to spend a long time waiting. Now, they can visit the nearest Post Office in their locality and carry out the registration or corrections in their Aadhar cards.
