In Chengelpet vaccine complex would be opened to manufacture vaccines

Vaccines are very important as they help us in preventing diseases attacking us. The news that has emerged now is in Chengelpet a vaccine complex would be started soon. It must be noted that this Intergrated Vaccine Complex would be a nodal centre and vaccine would be produced plus this complex would also play its role in the research activities. This was confirmed by state health minister Mr. Vijaya Bhaskar yesterday 25th January 2018 when he opened freezers and coolers for the state vaccine store at the directorate of public health.

It is also said that this complex in Chengelpet would supply vaccines at cheaper rates for the Universal Immunisation Programme or UIP. The manufacture would also be able to meet the three-fourths of the requirement of India.

It is now clear that nearly 500 million doses of vaccines would be manufactured in this vaccine complex and these vaccines would help in the treatment of diseases such as TB, whooping cough and polio.

For the kids below the age of five, polio vaccine would be done on Sunday 28th January and 11th of March 2018. The important piece of information is as many as 71 lakh children would be covered under the pulse polio programme and it that is superb.
