All new, topnotch gym facility on Venkatnarayana Road Park

It is now officially confirmed that the Greater Chennai Corporation will set up topnotch gym facility in the play area at Venkatnarayana Road, T. Nagar.
Corporation officials in Chennai say the playground is currently being renovated. The ground level is getting elevated a little and new basketball courts are constructed. Only during renovation, it has come to notice that the gym building present over there is in very deeply dilapidated state. So, the old structure will be devastated and new, modern gym will be constructed, said a corporate official.
To note, the old gym was constructed back in 1978 encompassing 158.23 square feet.
