Flight travel from Chennai now cost more, many passengers disappointed

Traveling by flights is now becoming costly!!
Currently, the Chennai airport is handling just 40 to 50 flights per day. For a trip from Chennai to Delhi, the flight ticket now costs around Rs 5000.
It must be noted that since the flight services are limited and if the passenger finds that the timings of a particular flight inconvenient then he or she would have to book another flight. This new flight might cost Rs 8000. The passengers were of the opinion that flight services with stopovers were more costly.
It has been brought out by Mr. D. Sudhakara Reddy, Air Passengers Association of India that presently many domestic flyers have been stranded in various cities due to lockdown. He added that these stranded flyers have been yearning to get back to their home towns and they are willing to pay any amount as demanded by the airlines.
The high rates would make middle-class persons think twice before flight travel. They would not be in a position to buy flight tickets at such high rates. There is a relation between the number of flights and ticket prices. It is worth mentioning that when the number of flights increases then the cost of flight tickets would decrease.
