Direct MTC buses from Avadi to Tambaram via Guindy for the college students

It has been around two years since the direct MTC buses between Tambaram and Avadi via Guindy were stopped. The news now is that MTC has resumed the bus services on this route once again.
It must not be forgotten that bus route number 70 that connected the western suburbs of Chennai with south-western parts was terminated. Two years back, it was converted into 2 services namely Avadi-CMBT of route number 70A and CMBT-Tambaram route number 70C.
Information is that a year later direct MTC buses from Avadi to Tambaram number 202 were launched through places like Pattabiram, Pettai and Chembarambakkam.
College students could feel delighted now as the route number 70 bus service between Avadi and Tambaram has been resumed. It is clear that this bus could run through places like CMBT, Ashok Pillar and Guindy etc. This was pointed out by an official belonging to MTC. The sources explained the termination of 47J that operated from Adyar to JJ East.
