An Indian hospital would be making its presence felt in Uzbekistan in the future!!
A memorandum of understanding or MoU has been signed between Chennai based Apollo Hospitals and Marofan group for the purpose of setting up a tertiary care hospital in Uzbekistan.
In the first phase, the upcoming hospital in the Fergana region would have 100 beds and it would be providing tertiary health care to Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. What Apollo Hospitals would be doing in the future is that it would be providing technical consulting plus clinical excellence, commissioning and BOMA or Branding Operations and Management Agreement.
It is noteworthy that Marofan Group would be investing 30 million USD in addition to the land and various other expenses. It is learnt that the hospitals would concentrate on oncology, organ transplant plus on others like urology, neurosurgery, cardiology etc. The doctors and nurses would be given superb training by the Apollo Hospitals.
Co-founder of Marofan group, Dr. Nurillo Mamasadikov, this upcoming project is in line with the aim of developing their nation and to bring about positive change etc. He threw light on the vision of providing healthcare to billions of people across the world. Point is that Apollo Hospital clinical excellence would be ensured. It was later brought out by the chairman of Apollo hospitals Dr. Prathap C Reddy that this association between Apollo Hospital and Marofan group would provide healthcare to 60 million people belonging to Uzbekistan plus in the neighbouring countries also. He concluded that the association would be improving access to quality healthcare.
