Chennai Metro City Police Commissioner: Sensitive polling booths under close surveillance!

- Chennai Metro City Police Commissioner Shankar Jiwal has informed that the Police Department is closely monitoring all the sensitive polling booths for the local urban administration election.
- The Chennai Metro City Police Commissioner further informed that the voting machines failed in 1 or 2 booths but were immediately repaired.
- Some minor complaints such as cash distribution, Booth Slip, Food distribution, etc., are received.
- On these complaints, the enquiry is being conducted with 17 citizens in Velacherry and a woman in Thiruvanmiyur (cash distribution).
