Shocking News: for vehicle drivers: Tollgate charges up from September!

Several tollgates operate on the Chennai-Trichy National Highway!
Out of these, the toll-gate charges in 2 of them – Ulundhurpettai and Thirumaanthurai – are being revised upwards from 1st September!
The revised tollgate charges have been announced and this has shocked the vehicle drivers.
As per the revision, the charges are revised from Rs. 55/- to Rs. 65/- for all 4-wheelers and the charges for multiple crossing in a day have been revised from Rs. 85/- to Rs. 100/-. Monthly tollgate charges have been revised to Rs. 1960/-.
For mini-lorries and light-commercial-vehicles, the one-time crossing tollgate charge is revised as Rs. 115/- and for multiple travels in a single day, it is revised as Rs. 170/-. The monthly payment is revised as Rs. 3435/-!
For buses and trucks/lorries, the one-time crossing is revised as Rs. 230/- from Rs. 200/- and for multiple travels in a day, it is revised from Rs. 300/- to Rs. 345/-. The monthly toll payment is revised as Rs. 6870/-.
For heavy-duty commercial vehicles, 1-time crossing tollgate charge has been revised from Rs. 320/- to Rs. 370/-. For multiple travel in a single day, it is revised from Rs. 480/- to Rs. 550/-.Monthly charges for the Heavy Commercial vehicle are revised as Rs. 11035/-.
The above-revised tollgate charges have sent shockwaves among the vehicle drivers!!!
