Just a few days to go for the partial solar eclipse!!
People who are living in certain parts of western Russia and Kazakhstan etc would be able to view the partial solar eclipse that would occur on 25th of October 2022.
In Chennai. from 5:14pm to 5:43 pm in the evening, this partial solar eclipse could be viewed. This was as per the release that was issued by the TN Science and Technology Center. Point is that the partial solar eclipse in Chennai could be seen with little visibility. The partial solar eclipse would be 80% visible in certain parts of Russia and Kazakhstan etc.
In Europe, north Africa and in the Middle East and in parts belonging to Asia etc, this partial solar eclipse would be visible.
Use of solar eclipse goggles or welders glasses:
The Center has warned the people not to view the partial solar eclipse with their naked eyes as the eyes could get damaged. People could use eclipse goggles or welders glasses to view the eclipse.
The last partial solar eclipse was seen on 21st June in 2020 and the next partial solar eclipse would be on 2nd August 2027. On 28th october 2023, a lunar eclipse would take place.
