In Chennai, GCC to carry out pot holes repair work!!

There are several roads in the 15 GCC zones belonging to Chennai having potholes.
It is learnt that GCC or Greater Chennai Corporation has supplied 4000 bags of cold mix of 110 tonnes to start repairing potholes on the damaged roads.
The damaged roads are present in places like Tondiarpet, Royapuram, Thiru Vi Ka Nagar, Teynampet, Kodambakkam and Adyar. These roads have received 400 bags of cold mix now to repair the potholes.
Soon, several potholes that are present in bus route roads like Anna Nagar Second Avenue, Ethiraj Salai, Red Cross Road, Nelson Manickam Road, Sardar Patel Road, College Road, Pantheon Road, Usman Road, Prakasam Salai, N.S.C. Bose Road and Cathedral Road, would be repaired with cold mix.
To prevent accidents along the stretches, locations having potholes reported by motorists on the Chennai Corporation helpline 1913 would also be repaired. There are potholes present on 471 bus routes belonging to Chennai city. It is now revealed that 640 bags of cold mix of 16 tonnes would be used to repair these potholes. For repairing the potholes on the roads, each of the zones of Thiruvottiyur, Manali, Madhavaram, Ambattur, Valasaravakkam, Alandur, Perungudi and Sholunganallur would get 120 bags of cold mix.
